Help with Vista and Outlook 2007 RPC
Hi,
I've posted on here a fwe months ago but to no avail,
I'm running Vista RTM and Office 2007.
I have an Exchange 2003 SP2 server setup with RPC which is running fine and
has been for over a year.
Having recently changed my OS to vista and office 2007, RPC now fails
whenever I am out of the office,
If I am on my local LAN, then it works fine, all connections are forced over
HTTPS, but when I am out of the office and try to conenct, I just get
"Connecting" on directory referal,
As I said, this works fine on all my Windows XP laptops, and even Office
2007 on Windows XP, but not on Vista.
Has anyone any ideas??? my only other option is to open a call with MS,
Thanks,
Rob Gee

Re: Help with Vista and Outlook 2007 RPC
We had the same problem. We had problems with high latency connections
(UMTS, GPRS, DSL, modem), maybe some timeout. ISDN or ethernet works.
There is a bug in the Kernel-SSL-Mode of Win2003. After disabling the
Kernel-SSL-Mode (which is disabled by default) the problem disappeared.
Maybe Vista has the same problem.
