vista rc1 error

after installing vista rc1 I get this error and am not able to access the
network.

!!!failed to system partition, Create File () failed, access is denied

I'm not sure if these are related.

any suggestions?

As RC1 is ~four months old, it should not be used. Get the full version
from MSDN or TechNET or wait until it comes out at the end of January.

any other suggestions. I do not belong to MSDN or TechNET. and they cost more
then I want to pay at this time.
