Credentials challenge constantly

Hello. I am having a slight problem with Windows Vista. Every time I
try to save something to a mapped network drive I always get a
challenged for a user name and password. The network drive is a
folder redirection to My Documents and I'm clicking on the My
Documents icon in the Save dialog box to access it. After I enter my
user name and password exactly 3 times(Huh?) It lets me in. I have
tried a number of things but I still get challenged. Any suggestions?

Is this an active directory domain? If it is this sounds like a DNS problem.
