Re: Automatically connect to wireless on boot-up
I got the computer - a Toshiba Satellite - about the end of Feb. 2007. I too
was wondering about formatting the HD and start again. Yes, it came with a
program to wipe the HD and I have the OEM CD for Vista. This afternoon I
borrowed another notebook which is working well (has XP) to see if it will
automatically sign on to my network. I thought this would be a check to be
sure the router is working properly.
Will let you know how I make out. Norm.

Re: Automatically connect to wireless on boot-up
Please start a new thread for this. Your problem is probably very
different and this one is complex enough. when you do, please post
the text output of
ipconfig /all run from an administrative cmd prompt when the machine
is in the BAD state, not after you've "fixed" it.

Re: Automatically connect to wireless on boot-up
sounds like a reasonable way to check to me.
