Vista Business to Server2000 Domain

I cant seem to join my vista Business pc to Server2000 Domain.I think the
procedure still remains with vista since I can easily join my Server 2003
domain. I have a number of people with the same problem!!! I tried changing
the "NTLM Ver2 Only" in network properties to "NTLM Only" from some of the
tips I got but still. Can anyone help?

What's the error message? Can you ping the windows 2000 server by FQDN?
