My Windows media center can read files and folders that my xbox ca

How do I fix this? Like there are some videos I have in a folder that was
once hidden and at first I thought that was the problem was because it was
hidden, but now I realize it's not the reason. There's actually a whole
series of folders that aren't accessible by xbox that are accessible by my
pc, is there a way to fix this?
Oh, and yes, most of the videos should be a readable file type if not all of
them...
