Offline File and Folder Setup

I am running Vista Home Premium laptop and am trying to get my network drives
to sync for offline access. I use network drives on campus and where I work
and need access to them when I'm not connected to those networks. It was
rumored that there isn't an option for offline sync with vista home premium.
Is this true? And how can I get around it if it is true? And is Microsoft
gonna change this option and give me back that option? Thanks for ya'lls
