Windows Media Center

I have a Gateway 5408 with Vista Home Premium. Everytime I try to play a DVD
using Windows Media Center, it gives me an error message that says something
about the screen resolution. I changed the resolution on my 19" as low as it
would go and they still won't play. Anybody have any ideas on what I can try?
