what to do with years of photos' collected on floppys

I didn't realize this was going to be a problem until I bought new pc this
spring. Now I am stuck with years of documention on floppy disks.

Buy old pc and email all those pictures to new pc?
Any other logical options?

Just throw out the old Sony FD Mavica MVC-FD-75? (new in 1999?)
Guess that is a long time ago?)

What is happening to all the old cameras?

You never said what the problem is, but there'd be no need to buy and old PC
and e-mail the pictures to yourself. If the problem is no floppy drive on
the new system, buy and internal or external floppy for it:

Same thing with the camera. There's definitely a way to get the pictures
from that camera. Just a matter of find the right driver or whatever. If it
uses a memory card, just pull the card out of the camera and put it in a
memory card slot. No need to throw anything out.

Apparently your new system does
not have a 3.5 floppy drive?

If you still have the Mavica...
why couldn't you connect it to the
new PC and download from there?
