windows movie maker / with vista and hard drive camcorder.

hi,
I have a new pc, with vista home premium installed, also a new sony 30gb
camcorder. the camcorder comes with its own picture motion browser.I can
export movie from camcorder to P.M.B. but cannot import it into windows movie
maker.? can anyone help me as I am a novice at this. Any help would be
appreciated.
