Background and color problem in vista picture gallery

Hi
Since I made a dia show and photo book I have a colored background and
yellow pics when I click a pic in the windows picture gallery. When I open
the pic with a another progam (photo impact e.g.) the pic is normal. It´s the
same when I get pictures by e-mail which a shown by the gallery. All with the
yellow colored background and changed. Where can a change these settings?? I
am searching since hours and didn`t find any options/settings for that !
