Any Suggestions?

Hey I just ordered a new laptop and I have an iPod and was wondering what you
all would suggest...should i try iTunes or is there something else that will
allow the transfer of songs to and from my Nano to my comp that is less
"glitchy" than iTunes.

I've had no problems with iTunes but people who have used Sharepod like it.
