Movie maker crashes when I add music

I have Vista Home Premium. I'm trying to create some DVDs from pictures.
When I try to add music (MP3s), Movie Maker crashes and closes without
warning. I've tried several different MP3s and this happens all the time.
Has this happened to anyone else, and if so, how did you get around this
problem?

Maybe the files are not compatible with
Movie Maker...have you tried importing
..wma or .wav files?
