Take a snapshot out of my home movie and turn it into .JPG file

I would like too know how I can take a picture off a frame from one off my
own home video's.
I have vista and I don't know how the Windows move maker off vista works,
Does somebody know how too do that??
Please let me know!!

Load the movie so that the frame you want shows in the preview window.
Click on Tools, then 'take picture from preview' giving it a name.

Better to use a tool like XnView (free) which allows you to select
both the quality and file format of the saved still image and also
extract a range of frames, making stills automatically.
