media player keeps crashing

anyone know why this keeps happening?? I've up graded from MD10 to 11,
changed my mother board, sound card, graphics card, power unit, ram (2GB
now)& have a chean instal from XP to Vista, but it still keeps playing for a
few songs then crashes! All of my music is now on a second HD with plenty of
spare space. If I rip a cd its ok until I try to open another programme then
it also crashes(frozen screen usually but also BSOD with different reasons
cited). Since music is the main use of my pc its a wee bit frustating!
