Re: How to find codecs?
Download a free utility called GSpot (search the net), it will tell you what
codec you need.
Go to the Codec MANUFACTURER'S site to download the codec. Codec packs can
cause all sorts of problems that are VERY hard to diagnose.
If you need the DivX codec, go to divx.com and download the package, but do a
CUSTOM install and ONLY install the codec. The other components of the package
are not fully Vista compatible.
