No. What file type on these photos? What happens if you insert the CD
in to the Vista system then use Windows Explorer to view the CD's
contents? If Vista 'sees' the photos and if there are no goofy
permission issues there shouldn't be any problem.
You could also have a file associate type problem where some
application was associated with these photos on the XP system, but
either that application isn't on the Vista system or the file types
you're trying to open are associated with the wrong application.
Have you tried copying the files on the CD to the Vista system
directly from a command prompt? That's a brute force method that
bypasses all the GUI junk.
