Try XnView, it supports 400 different file types including WMF, is
free, fast and works fine under Vista.

While you're at it, get GOM player. It too is free, works way better
than Media Player for playing videos of all types allowing way more
options and adjustments.

These are two great applications EVERYBODY should install. Both were
developed in Europe. If I remember right XnView in the Netherlands,
GOM in Germany.
