Movie Maker - General Access Denied Error
When trying to open Movie Maker, I get a "General Access Denied Error" No
other info, except the title bar of the warning window says "Windows Movie
Maker". There is no option to search for help, It shows the error and
doesn't start. I've tried this on both the Vista installed version and on
V2.6. Same error on both versions. I've also tried to give "Full Control"
to the admin account (I am listed as an admin) this did not work either.
I've tried to start the program in XP mode as well as run as an
administrator, this also did not work. I've also checked the event logs and
I've not found any mention of the error or an attempt to start Movie Maker.
I'm not having any similar problems (access denied or just won't start) with
other programs, files, etc.
Here are the specs on the system that I'm running...
Windows Vista Ultimate - 32 bit (Clean install to blank Drives)
Experience Index is 5.5 - Due to CPU, everything else is 5.9
Intel Core 2 6600 - 2.4 GHz
2 GB Ram - 4-4-4-12
GeForce 8800 GTS - 640 MB on Dual 20 inch FP's.
650 Watt PS
SATA RAID-5
