Error Message in movie maker

I keep getting an error message in movie maker when i try and open a project
file that i've already burned to a dvd, but did not SAVE it in DVD Maker, i
figured i could just open it up again the movie maker...however i keep
getting this message the file cannot be opened because it is not a valid
windows movie maker project file...

HELP! I hate this movie maker on vista there are so many gliches!

You are not trying to open the movie maker project file.... it's nothing to
do with MM or Vista.

You need to open a file which is a mswmm file type, what is the extension of
the file you are trying to open?
