I tunes & Vista keyboard Problem

Hi All,
I hope someone can help me. I recently bought a new Dell 410 preloaded with
Vista. A few weeks later I bought my first I pod nano.I was able to down load
Itunes and work with it the first night but the next day when I went to use
my computer the keyboard sort of locked up. When I typed a key the letter
didn't type immediatly but if I held the key down for 3 to 4 sec. it would
appear on screen. My dell Vista tech couldn't figure it out so I had to
reload Vista. I have not reloaded Itunes as I am afraid of a recurrance of
the keyboard problem. I had no prblem with the eject as I was aware of that
issue before hand. Any thoughts or guidence would be appreciated. Thanks
