Windows Media centre keeps asking for flash player update
Hi, I'm trying to access MTV overdrive in Windows media centre but each time
I click on the icon I get a message telling me I need to upgrade my flash
plug-in. i click OK which takes me to the flash website and allllows me to
download the latest flash version. I restart IE and WMC but the same message
pops up when I try to access MTV overdrive again.

"UPGRADE YOUR FLASH PLUG-IN. You Need to upgrade your flash plug-in to
experience MTV overdrive.you can download the lastest version for free"

any ideas on how to fix this?
Or How to tell WMC that i have upgraded my flash plugin

Cheers

Re: Windows Media centre keeps asking for flash player update
Try this: Go to C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash, right click on
FlashUtil9b.exe, right click and select "Run as Administrator".

Re: Windows Media centre keeps asking for flash player update

There's a more recent update (9c) you should be able to get now from the
Adobe site - http://adobe.com - if that doesn't work, you would likely want
to run their trouble-shooting steps of their uninstaller and their
reinstaller.
