I couldn't figure it out on my M7760N either until I downloaded and
installed Hauppauge WinTV 2000 to capture video from an older camcorder. It
has options to select different input sources. For example:
If I want to view or capture TV from the cable, I select the analog source.
I then have two seperate composite sources (Composite & Composite1).
Composite is if I plug in to the analog inputs in the back of the computer
and Composite 1 when I use the inputs that are in the front of the computer.
There are also options to select the two S-Video sources and to create other
sources.
So I have come to the conclusion that the software that you are using needs
to give you the option of selecting the input source. I am really surprised
that Media Center and Movie Maker do not have that option.
If your M7760N has a Hauppauge TV Tuner, you can download WinTV 2000 from
this link:
http://www.hauppauge.com/pages/suppo...t_hvr1600.html (WinTV2000
application version 5.2 ) is the second download on the page. There is a
new beta version at the bottom of the page, but I had problems with it.
Version 5.2 works fine.
Hope this helps.
