Flash Player is not working on my vista?

I already downloaded Flash Player, and followed instruction from Adobe.
Still no image and sound for all web sites that play Flash Player.

I do not have the pop up window requesting to download Flash Player anymore.

Any help will be greatly appreciated...

go back to adobe and download the uninstaller and download a FRESH copy of flash.
run the uninstaller.
then install a fresh copy.
