windows audio service crashes, along with taskbar theme
hi i have a stange problem, a couple minutes after startup my taskbar will
revert to the windows classic style (from the xp style) and the windows audio
service will stop. i then get a "no mixer available
error message if i try to open volume control. in services.msc the
windows audio service is set to auto, as is the other services it is
dependent on (plug and play and rpc). any suggestions? thanks

Re: windows audio service crashes, along with taskbar theme

Is there a driver update available for your audio card.... ? There's not
many details about your system here. A new machine would be less likely to
have legacy devices, but a number of vendors are still releasing their
Vista-compatible drivers, so -- given that sparse data, I'd start looking
there.
