How to extend my main monitor to T.V ?

I was able to extend my monitor to T.V in XP but in vista, when i make a check mark on "extend the desktop onto this monitor" and click on OK, it uncheck the option and i don't have display on my T.V. Do i need to change any other settings ?

Check the release notes for the version of the NVIDIA drivers you are using to find out if the option if the extend desktop option is avaiable yet with the the drivers you are using.

Make sure that the cable is securely connected on the back of the pc. I've
had this happen after the composite cable became loose.
