Compatabulity with Windows Picture and Fax Viewer
My bmp files are lesson notes used for teaching. They are imported from an
XP system, and were opened with Windows Picture and Fax Viewer on Windows XP.
On Vista they are opened by Windows Photo Gallary.
How do I get the screen layout to be the same as on XP? These are problems
that I noticed:
(1) The top of the new screen has a command bar for add photo to gallary,
file, fix, info, print, etc. I need to get rid of this. The bar clutters
up my lesson.
(2) To zoom you now need to slide. On old system you tapped on a button.
These files are lesson notes that I teach with. Depending on slide I used 2
taps (or 3, etc.) to get a very predictable result. Now this slide will
work but with a lot of difficulty.
(3) After zoom, I slide to top of lesson, or where ever I need to be in the
lesson. With the new support there is no slide bar.
If the new Windows Photo Gallary does not work for me, is it possible to
download Windows Picture and Fax from my XP system?
Thank you.
