sound

i can have a video call with my contacts but they can't hear me and i can't
hear them either.What could the problem be?please am getting so frustrated i
want to take it back to the shops today.I have a logitech webcam and the pics
are brilliant but NO SOUND!! When i check the wizard i get sound very clearly
so what might the problem be? the pc is new just bought it three days
ago!HElp!!

First the easy stuff...open the Volume Mixer and make sure the microphone
device is not muted or the level really low.
