Media player works in xp not in vista

I try to watch a video stream on vista but I get network cnnect error
message, I can go out to my xp machine and lnk to exact same sight and it
works fine. I have checked the settings in vista and xp media player 11 on
both. Checked firewall settings in Live One care on both set the same. SO why
is it the vista version of media player 11, which I cant uninstall or
reinstall, is so diferent then the xp version. Why can one version see a
video stream while the other can't?

is the link I am trying to get to work, it is the only one I havent been able
to get to run on vista media player 11. Anyone have a suggestion on what
settings I am missing? I really would appreciate it, I prefer to use my
larger hd monitor to view my brothers show on that link. But until I can get
it to work I have to watch on much lower resolution on xp system.
