Display driver for media player 11 (vista)

My computer keeps freezing when I play music on media player in full screen.
I don't think it does it when I have media player minimized. I get a note on
the bottom of my screen that the display driver has recovered from an error
so I was wondering where to go to download an updated display driver. I
don't know a ton about computers so I'm trying to figure things out as I go.

Most of the time when my computer freezes I have to totally shut it down. I
can't ctrl-alt-delete or do anything at all but sometimes I get lucky and it
say's the display driver has recovered. Anyone help please?

I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with my sound card. I bought a
soundblaster x-fi one when I bought speakers.

What is your display adapter?
Control Panel > Device Manager
Click plus sign next to Display adapter
What does it say?

Do you have the latest SoundBlaster drivers from Creative's site?
