Dreamscene seems to have messed up my desktop. Help!

I have Vista Ultimate on my laptop. I read about Dreamscene, did nto know I
had it on my system, and decided to try it. Well, it looks cool and all, but
I wanted to go back to the picture(s) I liked for my desktop wallpaper.
When I first tried it, Dreamscene gave me an error. And I could not select
anything for the desktop wallpaper but dreamscene content or straight color
(like in older versions of Windows before Aero).
I unstalled the update. Rebooted. I am still unable to get any pictures
for the desktop background/wallpaper.
I take my laptop on the road and need certain images to display when I am
demoing the system I am selling to prospects. I hope someone out there can
help me soon. Thanks in advance.
