Setting the color profile should fix it, but not if your monitor is screwy. I
am having a similar problem, only my pictures are hot green. I have done some
research and found from this article:

that the issue is due to Windows Photo Gallery using color profiles to
display color.
My problem is that I have a default Dell monitor which appears to have NO
driver according to the website. The monitor did not come with the Vista PC,
and I think this ultimately boils down to a driver issue. I'm afraid the only
solution may be to get a new monitor, which seems like a very bad solution.
Any suggestions?
