16:10 wideescreen problems when opening Mediasenter

Hi

I got a big irritating problem with Windows Vista. I got a ASUS MW22U 16:10
wideescreen ang run Vista @ 1680x1050 60Hz. This resolution is one I think
Vista has some problems with. Every time I trie to open Mediasenter the
image on my screen starts shivering and the screen says "out of range".
Since the resolution and the updaterate I use is supported by the display I
am led to belive that the problem must be Vista...
The same problem occurs every time I trie to run a game in fullscreen, try
to open slideshows and when I do anything that requires fullscreen for one
spesific program except the mainface of Vista.

So, does Vista really support 16:10?

It is your graphics card that drives the display not Vista itself.
What make/model graphics card do you have and what driver release are you
currently using for it?
The user's guide or readme file of your current drivers should state what
resolutions its supports.
What interface are you using betweeen the card and the display?
Do you have any problems with your PC desktop applications at 1680x1050?
Do you see the boot and windows splash screen when you boot your sytem?
Does use of the Splendid button on the display help at all?
