can't put more then 2 tracks on a disk

Every time I try to put my music on a cd, the computer finalises the disc
after only two tracks. i am runnig vista home premium. It does not make any
difference what kind of disk. I have tried two different cd burners, and I
have tried to use media player 11, as well as roxio, but all with the same
results.
Any ideas?
