Printing cropped images
I have a problem that's driving me up a wall and I can't figure out how to
solve it. I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate x64 with a Canon iP6700D photo
printer and I've installed Windows Live Photo Gallery. I can use various
combinations of applications to print standard-sized pictures (4x6, 5x7,
8x10) with no problem. The issue is that I need to print an odd-size picture
for a 1.75-by-2.75-inch frame. I've already cropped the picture to the
correct size, but I can't get Windows Live Photo Gallery, Paint, Paint.NET,
or Adobe Photoshop Essentials to print the image in its cropped size. It
seems no matter what I do, Windows insists it print a "full page photo" to
match whatever paper size I've selected and the Canon printer driver won't
let me select custom paper sizes below 2.5-by-3.5-inches.
Any idea how I can convince Windows to print the original image without
blowing it up to match the paper size?
