Faxes are often converted by a fax device to an emailable format like .tif
and forwarded to us via email as attached .tif files.
The default .tif viewer in Vista Ultimate 64 is the Windows Photo Gallery.
While they open up in the gallery in original format (such as 8.5 x 11), when
attempting to print them they are resized to landscape (such as 11 x 8.5).
There is no way currently obvious to print them in their original portrait
format.
I have reverted back to the Microsoft Office Document Imaging still included
in Office 2007 for viewing .tif faxes. Thank you for keeping that viewer in
office 2007. But it would be nice to be able to utlize the WIndows Photo
Gallery for managing these .tif faxes. Thus the Windows Photo Gallery should
be updated to allow for such.
Thanks for your consideration.
