Transferring Itunes Music from Mac OS 13.9.2 to Windows Vista PC

I have scoured the internet searching for answers and have been
unsuccessful. I hope someone can help me.

I bought a new iPod which requires at least Mac OS X 14.5 to run. I
am running Mac OS X 13.9.2 on my G4 mac. I want to transfer my iTunes
music from my Mac (which is using iTunes 7) to my laptop which is
running Vista and iTunes 8. My music file is fairly small - about 500
songs - roughly 3 gb. I am not able to network the machines (that's a
whole other issue) - therefore, I was going to use a flash drive to
port over the files from my mac to the pc laptop. Is there any way to
transfer my music over or am I wasting my time? I don't have
playlists or anything complicated - I just want to move the music over
so that I can finally use my new iPod. Because my iPod requires a
later version of OS X - I can not use the iPod as the method of
transfer.

Does anyone know how to do this?? Please help.
