Too low Sound Vultimate x64 Realtek

Greetings,

Im running vista ultimate x64, core 2 duo 7300, radeon 4850, Realtek
high definition audio system that i reacently aquired.

The sound is way too low, about 50% about what my old xp system could
run, On xp there was a secondary sound slider called "wave sound"
something, on the vista system i only get one system, ive checked the
obvious settings like levels etc and maxed it.. still sound is way too
low. Id appriciate alot if a nice lad or lass could point me in the
right direction to fix this.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Too low Sound Vultimate x64 Realtek

By the way, im running Servicepack 1, The realktek drivers:
Vista_Win7_R231. Another problem i have, is that im currently listening
to headphones, but in audiosettings it says speakers, and the headphone
alternative is ghosted. so i cant choose it as standard , ive tried
every hole on the back of the sound card, and the two front plugs, and
it wont lit up the headphone options. Maybe this meens something to
someone, :-)
