WMP won't play MP3, but does everything else

My Windows Media Player works fine in Vista Ultimate for WAV files. But when
I play MP3 files, there is no sound. The progress bar moves as if it is
playing however.

The MP3 plays fine using QuickTime.

I uninstalled QuickTime, but that didn't help WMP.

The MP3 file plays fine on other Vista machines, but not my Ultimate machine.

Any ideas? Thanks!
