Yes...just because a file plays in Windows Media Player
is no guarantee that it will be compatible with Movie MAker.

Sorry...I have no experience what that converter.
Try the conversion and see what happens.

All I can say is it may be worth a try.
FWIW...it's always a good idea to create a System
Restore point before installing software.
