DVD maker stops at 71% with error 28

Hi,

have been trying to burn a DVRMS file to DVD with no joy - so far have
tried removing all codecs, re registered the 3 MSMPEGxxx.dlls in
system32, but still no joy

if it helps, error info is below...
"The Dvd Maker engine returned an error code (28) when burning the
disc."

I have tried searching fo help on this error wth no joy, and have
reached a dead end!

OS is Vista Ultimate x64 runnig on Phenom 9950 with 8Gb Ram
all that is insalled is the OS, ffdshow and Virusscan, I tend to keep
my HTPC builds to a minimum..

You can burn it as a data file...to create a DVD to play like a normal
DVD you will need to convert it to a DVD standard compatable file....of
which you can wikipedia to learn the standards.

browser supports the plug in. If not download and it should fix the codecs
for WMP

Assumed that the fact I was using DVD maker in Vista would give away the
fact Im trying to make a video DVD from a recorded DVRMS file.

DVD Maker should be able to transcode a DVRMS file to MPEG for DVD
writing, in fact I have had it do this in the past, however, it now
refuse to work.
