DVD decoder for Vista Business, MP11

I have read a number of the discussions and have become confused as to what
to install for WP11. I don't understand why Microsoft doesn't include it!
Having said this, is there a link that shows the recommended decoders for
Vista Business and MP11? (There doesn't seem to be any consensus as to what
works)

It's a licensing issue. Hint: It costs money. Microsoft is CHEAP.

What "works' depends on what applications you use to view various file
formats. Repeating, Media Player does NOT natively support MPEG-2,
what's needed to view DVDs. MP11 MAY work once you install the
required MPEG-2 codec, which you won't get from Microsoft, but will
from apps like Nero or Roxio.
