Windows Media Player 11 - Lyrics display

Can anyone tell me how to improve the display of lyrics in Windows Media
Player 11?

The horrible little black box in the bottom left hand corner displays
only 6 lines. Lyrics stored as ID3 tags are displayed there with the
setting: Play > Lyrics, captions & subtitles > on, if available. I
would like to devote all of the left side pane to lyrics, but there
seems to be no way to increase the height.

There are several free plugins which will do this, but they all
retrieve lyrics from the Internet. That is not what I want. I have the
lyrics stored as ID3 tags. I want a plugin to display my lyrics in my
layout format - or, better still, I want WMP to do it. I am not going
to upload my copyright lyrics to an online database - which would be one
way round the problem.
