Windows Movie Maker stops working

I bring up the program and within 15 seconds the sreen goes white and
says the program not working.

Then it scans itself and says its shutting down and will notify me of
any fixes.

Happens everytime.Please help.

right click my computer > manage > computer management > event viewer

Look for Windows Movie Maker and post the contents of the log please.

Here's one error. This was in the details section :
MOVIEMK.exe6.0.6000.163864549b5b6QuickTimeAudioSup port.qtx7.6.3.048ba2f99c00000050017b3027c401c94754 da01051c

I think its messed up because I imported a quicktime clip by accident
and its there in the library with other clips. I tried deleting it from
the library in the short time I have the program on.It seems to delete
but the delete never takes as the QT clip is still there when I bring it
up again.

My son has a different profile than me (same computer)and his WMM works
with no problem.

You could temporarily uninstall QuickTime - or rename
QuickTimeAudioSupport.qtx - delete the file, and then put things back to
normal... =\
