C00D1163

I'm having a problem with WMP 11. It will no longer play DVD's and returns
error code C00D1163. I have removed all of the decoders, updated the video
card driver, and checked for updated drivers for the DVD drives (none were
available). I've downloaded some updates from Microsoft but when installing
them they say they don't apply. Anyone have any suggestions I may have
missed?

The computer is a HP Pavillion a6050e running Vista SP1.
