drag-drop best burn method ?

Is there any reason I wouldn't want to drag a bunch of mp3s onto my cd/dvd
drive via Explorer ? Does this get the best results as any other burn
method ?

dragging MP3 is OK, it's a data file, which can be played by your mp3 player
and most CD/DVD players. Burning means that you make a non-reusable CD/DVD.
