I don't know how to use my webcam..

hello, i just got a new laptop so im pretty new at this.. my webcam is built
right into the top of my note book, but i don't kno how to turn it on or use
it. i would really apprieciate your help, please and thank you!

Hi, I was also looking for a quick option to check my webcam on windows vista. You can try skype for example or other chat-tools with webcam support. At my a work I was testing computers and there I used MYCAMERALINK , because you don't have to install anything. It runs the webcam directly in the browser. It also has several options (password protection, motion detection, etc.), but check it out yourself.
