Stuttering video in Vista X64

I downloaded the latest DL.TV video to view on my Inte; Core 2 Duo
machine (E6600) on a Gigabyte GA-965P-DQ6 MB. This system has an
VisionTek Radeon 3600 video card and 4 GB of ram.

Here is the problem.
I have NO problem running and viewing the wmv file in Ubuntu 8.04 and
Vista Ultimate x86 (using Windows Media Player on Vista) on the same
machine (different partitions) - video and audio are in synch. However,
when I try to play the same wmv file in Vista X64 Ultimate WPA on this
same machine (different partition), the video stops or stutters. I have
noticed that this stuttering has happened with the last several weekly
DLTV video wmv downloads. Prior to that, the Vista X64 had no problem
with DLTV video.
Question: anyone aware of any recent problems with WMP in Vista X64, or
any other suggestions to look at?

Turns out it related to WindowsBlinds, which I only run on Vista X64. I
changed theme from a WindowsBind Molten back to Vista Aero and the
problem went away. Went back to Molten and the Video is much better than
before, but not quite as in synch as with Aero. Something got clobbered
somewhere along the way the last few weeks.
