Delay in Movie Maker video beginning

Using Vista Professional Movie Maker, I merely trim the front end of a
recorded video, and the result is the first 10-15 seconds of the trimmed
video are a still shot of the first "frame" until the video finally catches
up and we see motion. Has anyone seen this symptom and know if there's a
fix? If this is the may Movie Maker works, it does me no good.

It could be your PC stats...but you haven't really given us much to go
on.

Don;t even know what video files you are working with

so your replies will be as bad as your post I'm afraid
