Photo Gallery: Audio problems with videos

Hi -

I use Photo Gallery to sort all of my pictures and videos. I find it to be
pretty user friendly. Initially, I was able to view my videos, with audio,
using Photo Gallery, which was very convenient. Now, for some reason, I have
lost audio ability while viewing my uploaded home movies, and I don't know
why or what to do to correct the situation. Please help if you have any
advice. Please also note the following:

1) All movies uploaded from my camcorder are .MPG files
2) The sample movies that came with the computer, which are .WMV files,
still provide audio with the video

It's just strange that all of a sudden it stopped working, and it's been
inconvenient for me not to be able to here the audio while viewing in Photo
Gallery.

There isn't anyone out there that is experiencing this same issue? Or anyone
out there who may be able to direct me to the solution?
